Auditions for the 2009-2010 Sensations colorguard are complete. There will be a mandatory meeting for all members on Monday June 1st at 6:00pm in the Sickles High School Band room. Today I have announced that I will be resigning as Director of Bands at Sickles High School at the end of this semester. I have been appointed as Assistant Principal at Steinbrenner High School and look forward to this new opportunity as I continue developing my professional career. I want to thank each and everyone of you. Students, parents, alumni, and friends have made the music program, particularly band, what it has become today at Sickles High School. You have given me insight, support, encouragement, and friendship over the past ten years while at Sickles and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have made music and relationships that I will reflect upon for years to come. I can still remember our first football game in August of 1999 where we agreed that "the successes of today would be the building blocks for our future". That holds true today for all of us as we continue on our seperate journeys through life. Thanks again to all the great people who have been a part of my life over the past ten years. Best wishes and continued success. As always, keep it musical! |
