Tri-M Music Honor Society
The Sickles High School Band Department proudly participates in the Tri M Music Honor Society; the only national honor society for musicians in the country.
Mr. Kyle Gray, Choral Director, serves as the sponsor for the SHS Music Department Chapter. Questions may be directed to him at email@example.com. Students may inquire with Mr. Griffis, Mrs. Lundahl, Ms. Bradby, or Mr. Gray about this prestigious honor society, criteria for admission, and service hours requirements.
In a phrase, perform, lead, and serve.
A Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter opens up a world of opportunities for students who have already shown themselves to be academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, they’ll develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills sure to serve them well in school and beyond.
Tri-M welcomes student musicians in grades 6 through 12. Currently, there are over 2,100 chapters in all 50 states, involving more than 84,000 students. Besides shining a bright light on their school’s music programs, these future leaders contribute more than 750,000 service hours in their local communities.
