Fundraising/Support Opportunities

SICKLES HIGH SCHOOL BANDS is a large, growing, and high achieving performing arts curriculum where excellence in musicianship, character, and leadership is emphasized.  We provide a top-quality band experience for the benefit of our student musicians, our school, and our local community while keeping our band dues as affordable as possible for parents.  To achieve this and to supplement low school operating budgets, we must engage in a vigorous fundraising program and depend on the generous in-kind and sponsorship support of individuals, funding organizations, and corporations for goods, services, and cash donations.

What impact does your financial help on our band program? It provides funding for Musical Instruments, Guest Artists and Clinicians, Bus/Trailer Transportation Costs, Sheet Music, Method Books, Customized Drills, Professional Development for Directors, Florida Bandmaster Association Dues, Music Performance Assessment Fees, Florida Schools Music Association Dues, Percussion Instructors, Winter Guard Instructors, Marching Band Instructors, Middle School Band Night, Uniform Dry Cleaning, Instrument Repair, Website Maintenance, Liability Insurance, Scholarship Funds, Band Banquet, Guard Equipment, Winter Guard Equipment and MORE!

Please consider Sickles High School Bands when reviewing your charitable options.  What better investment than music education whose impact on our students will be remembered and demonstrated throughout their lives?  All donations are tax-deductible to our registered not for profit organization 501(c)3.  Thank you in advance for your consideration.

COMMUNITY GRANTS AND CORPORATE MATCHING PROGRAMS

Some employers offer to their employees a matching grant program which could mean your costs/donations are matched and the band gets additional support we need.  We will assist with the paperwork necessary; we are a registered not for profit charitable organization.

We also seek funding through community grants from local, regional, and national organizations.  If you have experience in grant writing professionally or through your previous volunteer efforts, please let us know.  We can use your help!
